Terms of Service

1. Overview

These terms apply whenever you browse or buy from Lane & Kate Designs. By placing an order, you agree to them. If anything here is unclear, ask usbefore ordering — we're happy to explain.

2. Custom Products & Proofs

• Custom items are made to order based on the details and artwork you provide.
• For custom designs, we send a digital proof for your approval. Production begins only after you approve the proof, and the approved proof is what we produce.
• Please review proofs carefully — spelling, colors, sizes, and placement are your responsibility once approved.
• Colors on screen may differ slightly from finished products due to monitor and material differences.

3. Your Artwork

• You must own, or have permission to use, any artwork you upload. You're responsible for any claims arising from artwork you provide.
• We don't claim ownership of your artwork — you grant us a license to use it solely to produce your order.
• We may decline orders containing content that is unlawful, hateful, or infringing.

4. Pricing & Payment

• Prices are shown in USD and may change at any time; the price at checkout is the price you pay.
• Payment is collected at checkout via Stripe or PayPal.
• Quotes for custom work are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise.

5. Production & Delivery

Production and shipping timelines are estimates, not guarantees — see Shipping & Returnsfor current timelines. We're not responsible for carrier delays once a package is in transit, but we'll always help you chase one down.

6. Returns & Refunds

Our full policy lives on the Shipping & Returnspage. In short: custom items can't be returned for buyer's remorse, but we replace or refund anything that arrives damaged, defective, or different from your approved proof.

7. Accounts

You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. We may suspend accounts used for fraud or abuse.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim related to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.

9. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The version posted here at the time you place your order is the one that applies to it.
